Eliza Maledevic asked:

You can already be familiar with many names that are popular in the field of performing magic tricks. The people who are interested in the performance of these tricks are unlimited so you can simply think of the possibility for you to make yourself popular when you can also perform magic tricks in front of many people.

The thought of doing the tricks with other people watching can already be your main key to motivate you to learn the tricks faster. However, you should still remember that it is still needed that you perform the tricks the right way to make yourself a good magician. Learning would be important and the huge audience can be satisfied when you perform the tricks the right way.

When it comes to the audience, you will not have a hard time seeking for one because there are actually many people who are interested in magic tricks. You will not have much trouble seeking for the people to watch for you but you will have to prove to them that their time is valuable and it will not be wasted when they spend it watching your performance. Thus, it will all lead on how good you will perform. You have to astound the people watching you and you will have to make them think that it really is magic.

If you browse the Internet, you can encounter a number of sites that can give you some samples of magic tricks that you can do. You will have to check them and learn the details of the trick. This is important as this will be your key in performing the proper way. Every small detail in your performance can be the most important detail that you will need. You have to practice and make each performance perfect. Failing a detail may mean failing the whole process so you will have to ensure that you have all of your points remembered.

Also, controlling the way that the audience thinks will also be crucial. You have to make them follow your lead so that you can do your trick. You have to make them think that there is no trick involved. But all of the things they have seen are creations of magic. You should not share the magic tricks to other people especially your audience since this can ruin the whole process. Remember that you are a magician and you have to keep your tricks a secret. You can try borrowing things from the audience to make them think that there really are no tricks involved. You must not do the same tricks for many times because this can reveal your tricks to the audience. So you have to be very careful with your tricks to make you a good magician.

Jron C. Magcale asked:

Magic tricks can be a bit harder than it looks, well, let me rephrase, that magic tricks can be really harder than it looks. Although magicians makes it look effortlessly, when you are the one on the performing end you’ll see that it is really more than just the tricks, other factors in as well. When you are mastering the art of magic you are practicing the art of deception, well you are trying to make things work at the same time you are making your audience believe what you want them to believe and then poof, the deception has been made. Mission accomplished. I think that is just one of the things that you need to learn when learning magic tricks, part of it is performing a show and part of it is protecting your cover.

Well a lot of it really focuses on how you are going to maintain your composure when performing on a show. Magic tricks can be executed perfectly but you can still make mistake if you can have a good performance on not letting people know what you just did on a particular trick. It has been something that people are trying to figure out. I think that in reality magic tricks can be really, really hard to perform let alone execute with precision. So, I think when watching magic tricks you must have a certain amount of respect to them for putting a great show because it really can be hard but it is all up to you to believe it or not.

Ted Jacobs asked:

Imagine being able to impress your friends or even people you don’t know with an amazing coin magic trick. Do a few coin magic tricks right and you’ll be the center of attention with people pleading with you to tell them how it’s done.

The thing about coin tricks is that the majority of people can only do the simple tricks that most already know, or can easily work them out. However, anyone can learn the advanced tricks that truly amaze. It just takes practice and of course the instructions for some of the best coin magic tricks around. All of the famous magicians had to start somewhere; David Copperfield, David Blaine, Derren Brown, the list goes on, and there’s no reason why can’t learn just a few of the tricks that they use.

Many card tricks and coin tricks make use of sleight of hand and this is where the majority of your practice will be needed. Learning the tricks is one thing, but having good sleight of hand is another. Furthermore, you should practice your timing during the tricks and the wording and chat that you do to grab your audiences’ attention whilst you carry out the trick. This will all become second nature after a while of practicing.

Although I would say I’m pretty good at coin magic tricks and card tricks now, when I first started I could hardly shuffle a deck of cards never mind impress people with tricks and use sleight of hand. In fact the very first coin trick I learnt was so simple that anyone could do this right now. Here it goes:

- Pick up two coins and place one in each hand. A coin in the center of one of your hands, and the other coin also in the palm (on the other hand) but nearer to the thumb.
- As you turn your hands over and hit down on the table the coin that was nearer the thumb should flick under the other hand. Both coins are now both under the same hand (hopefully!).
- Ask your audience where the coins are. They will normally say that a coin is under each hand, with which you left both hands from the table to reveal both coins had been under the same hand.

Simple, don’t you think!

There are plenty more coin magic tricks that are far more impressive, and learning them is really exciting. The same goes for card tricks.

Izrul Fizal asked:

Do you want to amaze and astound your friends and family with illusions and magic tricks? Do you think it will take years and years to learn how to do magic trick? While professional magicians invest hours practicing and perfecting their performances, for those seeking to learn how to do a magic trick to liven up a party, there are several key (and quick) points to consider. Learning how to do magic trick involves only two simple procedures.

1) Learn the Trick Completely

There are no shortcuts in magic. Each magic trick has a special way of being presented to the audience. Often, the trick employs the use of a scientific principle and it would in your best interests to thoroughly understand that concept before trying out the trick.

Therefore, the first step in learning how to do magic trick is to memorize the technique of the trick. This may include holding a coin a certain way or dealing out cards in a special pattern. Fix those instructions in your mind first and when that has been done, it is time for the second part of learning how to do a magic trick.

2) Practice, Practice, Practice

While practice may seem to be tedious at times, to perform magic tricks this step is essential. Stand in front of a mirror, preferably a full length one to try out the trick. Another option is to videotape your practice time. In this way, you can be the ‘audience’ and observe what parts of your performance need to be improved upon.

Practicing also gives the aspiring magician an added boost of confidence. Being sure of your technique and delivery will show your audience your mastery of the magic.

3) The Secret to a Good Show

Magic requires manipulation both of the props and the audience. When you learn how to do magic trick, you take that head knowledge of the illusion and then transfer it to your hands. Although the procedure to do the trick may be relatively easy to understand, it may take some time to master the movements. Good magicians realize that the success of a trick really rests in their own hands. They are like an actor on stage, memorizing their part and then performing it with confidence.

Most magic tricks require you to misdirect your audience’s attention while you manipulate the props. Although this takes a good amount of practice, once you have the knack of this, you will be on your way to fame, even if your fame is limited to family and friends.

Although many people learn how to do magic trick for fun, it can even be the start of a new career. Yes, magic can make money. Once you develop the necessary skills, and when your reputation as a magician becomes known, you may find yourself being asked to perform at a party. Never underestimate the power of magic! But until you get to that level, master each trick, practice every day and watch what happens.

Christopher Haynes asked:

A classic levitation magic trick can be a terrifyingly realistic magic trick, which employs much of its technique from optical illusion. Seeing a person being lifted into thin air can seem quite impossible, and will leave the audience dumbfounded and amazed by your amazing magic skills.

However, through some practice, you can learn how to do a magic trick. You can learn the classic levitation magic trick by yourself. Here are six easy steps on how you can achieve this seemingly impossible trick:

1. Ask for a volunteer to levitate, and make sure to choose a person of average to heavy weight and ask them to sit upright in a chair on the stage. Tell them to keep their feet flat on the floor, with his hands resting gently on their lap.

2. Take four assistants to stand around the persons, in all four sides.

3. Have your four assistants place their extended fore fingers place under the armpits and knees of the person to levitate.

4. Tell your volunteer to think ‘heavy’, that they are sinking down into the chair. The four assistants will then try to levitate the seated person, albeit unsuccessfully.

5. Now, instruct your four assistants to place their palms on the shoulders and the knees of the seated person, and apply pressure to keep the person down. Ask your audience to count out loud from one to ten. Once the count reaches to nine, the four assistants should quickly place their forefingers back under the armpits and knees. One it reaches ten, they should spread out all their fingers, and reattempt to lift your volunteer once more.

6. Ask your volunteer to think ‘light’, as if they are slowly rising towards the ceiling. The seated person will then appear to levitate in the air, on the fingertips of the assistants.

Michael Malega asked:

Time to get started on this topic. Take a few moments to read every aspect of this paper hopefully it will be of great help.

There are any number of easy magical tricks which are available to find if only you look hard enough. This is true for all types magic, going from easygoing magical tricks to the more difficult ones, to street magical tricks.

What character of wizardly you want to specialise depends altogether on you of course, but if you’re a beginning magician you might want to try different magical specialties first to see which one suits you.

Or you could if you treasured to, mix one or more elements of any of these easily magical tricks into your repertoire to come up with a truly unequalled act which no has. Of course you will need to work at it passably to make sure that your charming act goes seamlessly from one act to the other, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be done.

One thing that you will need to do disregarding of whether you’re Using well-situated magic tricks or not, is to practice. This is a must if you have a hope of acting any magic tricks (successfully) in front of an audience. There is nothing more embarrassing than having your rabbit pop its head put of your hat before you want it to, and there’s utterly no ground to have your cards do their flipping before you’re ready for them to flip.

These are very strong reasons so for you to practice diligently at your wizardly tricks, but sometimes you will find some beginning magicians do not hassle overly much with these unneeded necessities. These budding magicians will not get very far in the magical world.

Even with things such as easy magical tricks, you will find that a good deal of thought, practice and diligence inevitably to go into it, before it comes out the other end as a good magical joke which can be performed cleanly in front of an audience.

Besides, not having your eggs fall out at the wrong time during a operation can be of great help when you’re trying to be a magician. If you want to be a comedian, then that’s a different matter, by all means have your eggs fall out, and have your rabbit pop out before time. But if you want to be interpreted as sober magician, you will find that practice is the key here.

Of course, practicing on easy wizardly tricks, is always the best alternate for beginning magicians as it allows you to get exploited to your tricks and to interpret better how to do them… for more on this topic, please check our WWW site…

In conclusion I’d like to say thank you to you for reading this article and good luck with any issues related to this information.

Drikus Botha asked:

Kids magic tricks can help children tremendously in building their self-confidence. When getting started there are a few rules to remember when performing them. Here are 10 things a true magician must always remember.

Never tell anyone how a trick is done Practise each trick over and over again until you can do it perfectly without mistake every time. Keep your audience directly in front of you. Don’t let them sit beside or behind you Don’t repeat a trick in front of the same audience. They are only trying to figure out how the trick works Don’t tell your audience what you are going to do. It is better to let anticipation and suspense build as you perform your trick. You can however talk to your audience while performing your trick because this will help distract them. Use expressions and gestures to enhance your act. For example, you can frown to show you are concentrating hard, or stand still without speaking to gain your audience’s attention. Make absolutely sure all your props are in perfect working order and look good – no scruffy wands or hats. Once you have learned a trick and can perform it, you can alter it. This can be great fun! Practise and perfect the story you tell while performing each trick – it’s what makes you different from another person who performs the same one. Perform against a dark background under a good light.

Whether you just want to have fun with your kids magic tricks or become a master magician it is very important to know that being able to do this tricks enable you to play with people’s minds. Use it in a positive way.

Lesa Bolt asked:

Here is a cute and fun magic trick your children will love and they get to eat before they are finished with the trick.

Take a fruit roll up and cut out a small section. A three-inch square works well. Now place a dime on the middle of the fruit roll up. Fold over the bottom edge on top of the dime. It will not touch the other edge. Turn over this piece and fold the side edges inward toward each other. You should now have three folded edges. The last folds were on both sides and the ends went over each other. Holding the first fold in your right hand between your thumb and pointer finger squeeze the roll up slightly from the folded end as you turn the fruit square over again. Move the folded end upward as you flip it over. When you do the dime will have been pushed outside of the first fold by your squeezing. As you flip the fruit, let the coin drop into your left hand without your audience seeing your trick.

Conceal the dime, which is now in your palm, from view and proceed to fold over the open end of the fruit roll up so that it looks like all edges have been folded. It does not matter which way you fold the last portion because the dime is now gone. All that actually remains now is the fruit roll up in about a one-inch square mass of folds.

Are you hungry? This is the fun part. Put the fruit piece into your mouth and chew it up. Do not get far away from your audience. Let your friends see your mouth as you chew. Open your mouth so they can see there is no dime inside. When you are done chewing swallow the fruit and let your audience see your empty mouth.

While you are chewing the fruit you can put the dime into your pants pocket so no one will ever see it. They will think you have either dissolved the dime or eaten it. You will have them scratching their head about how you made the magic trick work. You can pull the coin from your pants without showing the audience and then put your hand behind the ear of a volunteer and magically pull out the coin which they thought was in the fruit you ate.

Lesa Bolt asked:

Here is a super cool and simple magic card trick to amaze your friends and family. You will need 1 deck of regular playing cards. Show your audience the stack and shuffle them well.

Now count out the first 26 pieces, turning them over face up as your count them out into a pile. Pay close attention to the 18th card as you are flipping them over and placing in a heap.

Once you have gone through all 26 stop and take those and turn them face down and put them at the bottom of the stack.

Now you are going to count out 4 rows of 10 cards. You will turn over the first one in the deck and whatever number is on that face you will start counting to 10 from there. So for example if it is an eight you lay that one down and say 8 and then another card on top of it going downward like laying them out in solitaire. The next one is 9 and then 10. Now start the next row with another card. If that one is a two, begin by saying 2, then the next piece is 3, the next 4 and so on until you get to 10. No matter what amount is on the face you are just counting to ten from the first number in each row you start. If one of them begins with a ten, jack, queen, or king you will count that as a ten so just say that amount and start the next row until you get all 4 lines completed.

Now take the top card in each row and pull them upward away from the lines and add up the total of those four. Again if one of them is the number two, a jack, queen or king it counts as ten. Now after adding the sum of those four pieces. Take the total, such as fourteen and tell your audience you will find the suit from your 18th card above when you get to that number. Count out that many cards from the remaining deck you have in your hand and that last numeral should be the lucky piece you glanced at from the beginning. Remember I told you to pay attention to the 18th item.

Practice this simple magic card trick before performing for family or friends to make sure you have it perfect.

Eliza Maledevic asked:

Magic can be amazing if it is properly executed or perform. There are those viewers who really go for a professional magician to feel the intensity while watching the performance.

Fun and entertainment is really what you will have in watching a magic show. And for most the people watching this kind of show, they usually expect to be thrilled and amaze. This is really a big challenge to the magician, knowing that we can not please everyone to be amazed in what we do.

But the key to have a successful performance is practicing every steps or procedure in doing a magic trick. They need to familiarize and perfect each performance. Aside from familiarizing the trick is you need to learn how to get the attention of the crowd.

A performer usually has good looks and good personality. But in performing magic trick, it doesn’t need to have good looks, you need to know how to communicate and make your audience involve on the show. It is like catching their attention and focus on the things that you are doing.

At first it may be very hard to perform; you may experience stage shock and feel uncomfortable. You should need to learn how to focus and avoid distractions but also you need to make the audience involved without being distracted of what you are doing. That is really hard especially for those beginners who are trying to establish a name in the field of magic.

They need to be confident enough to face a huge crowd, and the best way to be confident in performing in front of the crowd is to practice their routine and magic tricks. Daily practice will help them master a single trick. Before performing in front of the crowd, they need to do rehearsal prior to the actual performance. There are those who fail because of lack of confidence and usually the magic trick that they perform where being caught by the audience because of their carelessness.

Your goal in performing magic trick in front of the crowd is to make them believe in impossible things, that you can do impossible things and make them think how you did such thing. You should make them feel intense and surprise.

There are those people who don’t believe in magic, and by making them believe through your performance that it is possible to do impossible things is a fulfillment in your part. They may suspect something but suspecting without proof is nothing, which is why magic trick is really a good means of entertaining people.
