“Brandon, if you ask me again for an airsoft gun you are going to be grounded.” the mother continues, “I never had even a bb gun when I was a child. My mother was afraid of guns. Those BB’s could blind a child if you shot them in the eye.”

When your father comes home from work, we’ll ask him. You father has had some paintball experience and he’ll know what is best for a growing boy like you, son. It might teach you how to control your gun. I know that gun safety is a good to know. Most hunting accidents are caused by inexperienced hunters and untrained people.

I wanted to be fair with my only son – who was determined to make airsoft his hobby of choice. Is there a better choice as to the type of air-soft gun you start with? It all depends on your preferences. Price is usually a deciding factor. The automatic rifle runs for $40 to $100, and the spring operated pistol is as low as $3 to $25. These airsoft guns are started weapons for teenagers with plastic gears. There are also pump-type rifles ranginess from $15 to $35.

As a mother, I research the Internet and found out that there were three types of Airsoft guns to start off a child with: A Spring pistol that you cock yourself, or maybe the spring loaded rifle that is powered by cocking a spring. You could also choose a battery-powered pistol where you recharge the battery and then the air-soft gun shoots automatically. Gun safety learned at an early age will help the child all his or her life.

The whole family can enjoy an airgun shooting event. You need to wear extra clothes because the 6 MM airsoft BB ammo can hurt when you shoot or get shot by airsoft guns and rifles. When the rifles shoot at 300 F. P. S. then the impack of the airsoft BB’s can almost break the skin. Having a full paintball face mask is a better idea than using shooting glasses.

Some other parents are complaining about the airsoft little balls that are piling up in the living room carpet. There are airsoft targets that collect all those BB’s for another use. The Airsoft BB targets-traps catches and collects the ammo for re-use and re-shooting.

You need to think about protecting yourself and your face from those BB’s flying over 300 fps. Those little round plastic balls can almost break the skin when they hit the bare flesh. You gotta have safety protection. Some people us only safety shooting glasses, while other use a goggle to cover the eyes, and the most safety conscious use the full face mask – just like they use in Paint ball competition.

Children can learn gun safety using air-soft guns. With the look and feel of real guns, they will soon get over the curiosity and discomfort of handling these weapons. Children learn quickly, and working with them to practice airsoft gun safety will stay with them throughout life.

It’s that time of year, again. Time to decide what to get your child for Christmas. A lot of parents do not what to just buy their child the same video game they got last year, or something that will become outdated or break within a month. And many parents want to get gifts for their children that will get them outdoors. One great gift to think about is an Airsoft Gun.

Airsoft guns are used to play games. There are federal and state regulations regarding airsoft guns, which have orange tips on them. This is to show that they are not real guns, and can be used for play. The most popular airsoft gun used to play airsoft games is the AEG, which stands for Automatic Electric Gun. They come in several different models, including a submachine gun and rifle.

Before you purchase an airsoft gun as a Christmas present, figure out what it will be used for, and by whom. For a smaller child, you might want to purchase a smaller gun, such as a pistol. It might be easier and cheaper to purchase an airsoft package. These include a gun, ammunition, and usually some type of safety equipment, such as goggles or a vest. If you are only buying for one person, you might look into purchasing a target as well. This will allow the child to practice their precision shooting.

If you just don’t like guns in your house, but your child is really into them, you might consider other airsoft products, such as slingshots. This is an revamped, old-fashioned toy. It comes with ammo that you can store in the handle and shoot with precision. This will provide hours of entertainment outdoors, and you will be relieved to know you’ve purchased the coolest toy of the year.
