Matt Razor asked:

Ever wonder what’s all that talk about green gas airsoft sniper rifles? Is there an advantage to using green gas airsoft guns? The answers you may get can be different depending on the person you are asking. I’ve heard that green gas rifles are great but it also depends where you play. Climate affects the gas in the canisters that you use and is known to don’t work so well in colder climate. There one airsoft sniper rifle that has been the talk on the field and its the KJW M700 Green Gas Powered Airsoft sniper rifle.

This gas powered rifle claims to shoot at 600-720 FPS! That’s is the fastest airsoft sniper rifle I’ve come across and the reviews of this rifle is saying it’s the truth. The KJW M700 is a gas blot action sniper rifle and the bolt action is very smooth. There’s no strained in pulling back the bolt because there’s no spring to give resistance. The magazine of the rifles holds upto 11 rounds and simple to insert, it also comes with a nice cushion rubber butt stock. The optiumn size of BB to use is the .225 grams because the .2 grams are too light. With a .225 gram BB I was able to constantly shoot at 600+ FPS. When purchasing the M700 you have a choice to combo it with a scope or a bipod. The total lenght of this rifle comes out to 46.5 inches and weighs a little over 7 pounds and the price isn’t to expensive.

In my honest opinion the M700 airsoft sniper rifle is a very powerful green gas sniper rifle and should be purchase if you are more comfortable as an all around sniper on your team. The accuracy on this gun for its range and projection is better then most airsoft guns on the market. This will be one of the most tactical rifle for any airsoft player and something you should look into.

Bill asked:

Airsoft is a very popular game and lots of people are getting interested in this game. It can be called a hobby or a sport. Airsoft is a game with replica firearms, and the participants eliminate each other by shooting non-metallic pellets from these replica firearms like guns and rifles. These replicas are made from plastic and only the external size and shape are like the real firearms. Airsoft games are becoming popular sport in US, UK and Europe.

The Airsoft guns, which are replicas of real guns, shoot small plastic balls at velicity ranging from 30 to 260 m/s. You should be above 18 years if you are interested in buying a Airsoft gun and these guns come with an orange tip, which should not be removed. People enjoy playing the game ‘Airsoft’ with these Airsoft guns, which are safe and harmless, but it should be handled properly and not be misused. These guns are also called BB guns or Pellet Guns.

An Airsoft Gun can be operated by gas, spring or electric motor. Depending on the quality and the type of Airsoft guns, there is variation in prices. Spring operated Airsoft guns are less in price compared to gas operated Airsoft guns.A Spring Airsoft Gun is readily available and less expensive. They are manually operated and therefore cannot be automatic and semi automatic. Before you fire a shot you have to reload by re-cocking the spring. You can use it anytime as these guns don’t depend on battery or gas.

Another type of Airsoft gun is the Electric Airsoft Gun. These guns are powered by an electric motor. A rechargeable battery is used to power this motor, which makes the gun shoot the pellets. Originally developed in Japan, these guns can shoot around 750 rounds per minute, fully automatically. They are widely used in competitions as they need not be recharged very often.

The third type of Airsoft gun is the Gas Airsoft Gun. Gases like HFC-134a or Green gas are used to operate these guns. When shooting, the slide moves back and forth, and there is a gas chamber where the gas is re-loaded after several shots. These guns can be fully automatic or semi-automatic.

Airsoft Pistols and Airsoft Rifles are used in Airsoft games and this game offers relaxation and lot of thrill away from your routine life and work. If you are interested in playing the game, you can get yourself an Airsoft Sniper Rifle, for distance firing, with accuracy. They are available in the price range you want and in different camouflage colors to suit the terrain.

Another interesting game is the racing game with radio control vehicles. Many people consider it as a hobby. Children nowadays prefer and demand for RC toys like RC cars and RC trucks. RC vehicles are vehicles that are operated and controlled by radio signals from hand-held transmitters. The RC helicopter comes in four types; electric, gas, nitro and petrol/gas. The RC airplanes are also very interesting. If you like water sports get a RC boat and during winter, you can get a RC hovercraft to race on the snow or ice. The RC buggie is also a very versatile vehicle.

Sharon Price asked:

For people who like to use the weapons of world war two without spending the high prices that a real gun can cost, many now buy world war two airsoft guns. These are not cheap but they are less than the real thing. These guns are well made and considered high performance in the airsoft world. These airsoft guns are even made to be field stripped. Expect to pay over a thousand dollars for the best replicas but also expect to be amazed with the quality and attention to detail. The airsoft guns use real metal parts and have real wood stocks where appropriate.

A world war two airsoft gun is legal in most countries and a person doesn’t have to have a license either. These guns will fire and the flame coming from the muzzle is real but they don’t actually shoot a projectile. It will discharge the cartridge but there isn’t anything in the cartridge that comes out of the barrel. Many of the world war two airsoft guns are fully automatic and depending on the gun, might also have some recoil.

World War Two Airsoft Gun Prices And Models

If a certain gun was used as a world war two gun, there is a world war two airsoft gun. Some of these guns are the M3A1 grease gun. It is a 45 caliber replica with a fully automatic thirty round clip available. These can be purchased from between three hundred seventy dollars to over four hundred fifty dollars.

Another great world war two airsoft gun that is a replica piece is the M1 Garand semi automatic replica gun. The M1 Garand was made to chamber the 30-06 round and was accurate to about four hundred meters. The world war two airsoft gun is built with full metal parts and a real wood stock. It looks exactly like what it was modeled after. The M1 Garand can be purchased for around nine hundred dollars to about nine hundred fifty dollars depending on what equipment comes with the gun.

One last world war two airsoft gun to look at is the M1A1 carbine airborne version. It has the folding metal butt section and is a high quality piece of equipment. Looking like the original carbine this gun is built to exacting specifications. It is a lot more money but it is worth the cost because it is a work of art. The cost for the airborne model is about one thousand four hundred fifty dollars.

Airsoft is a relatively new combat sport in North America. It isn’t as well known as paintball, but the sales of airsoft guns are increasing steadily each year. The game is very similar to paintball, using strict rules for taking shots, keeping score and how participants are expected to maneuver throughout various types of competition. Such competitions include skirmishes and various types of military simulations.

While just beginning to gain popularity in North America, airsoft guns have been extremely popular in Asia for decades. They were first introduced f in Japan and East Asia in the 1950′s, when it was almost impossible for private citizens to get any form of firearm. To fulfill their passion for target practice and role-playing military games, airsoft guns filled a niche that quickly spread across Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea. Today the popularity of airsoft weapons is quickly spreading across North America and Europe, with interest particularly high in areas such as Ireland and the United States.

Airsoft guns are increasing in popularity in the U.S. in contrast to paintball guns for a number of reasons. One reason is that airsoft pellets themselves are less likely to cause damage to the guns during the course of play. There is no paint enclosed in the pellets, therefore there’s no opportunity for them to rupture in an airsoft gun’s chamber and damage the gun itself. Because of this, airsoft guns are easier to take care of, keep clean and maintain. They also have fewer mechanical parts to take care of and are less prone to break down, making them less likely to jam up or cause problems during game play.

The cost of airsoft guns and their ammunition is also considerably less than that of paintball weapons. While you can certainly invest a substantial amount of money in either form of combat sports play, the cost of a reasonably accurate and powerful airsoft gun is approximately twenty percent less than that of a paintball gun. Ammunition for airsoft guns is also less expensive; you can purchase about 5000 airsoft pellets for approximately twenty dollars. For the same price, you will get less than 1500 paintballs of similar quality.

Airsoft guns may not be as popular as some other forms of combat game play in North America, but it is quickly getting noticed not only for its affordability but for its flexibility. While there are fewer formal, organized locations for airsoft competitions and team play, this doesn’t limit anyone’s ability to enjoy airsoft guns. These combat play weapons can be used in almost setting, including empty buildings, wooded areas or on farms without damaging property because there is no mess from paintballs and far less debris from pellet shells.

You can use airsoft guns for routine skirmishes, the most common form of play that the casual player is familiar with, or military simulations that last for days at a time. Whichever form of play you favor you’ll use less ammunition and be able to travel lighter using airsoft guns.

If you are interested in learning more about airsoft guns, talk to someone who is a current player and ask them to teach you how to play. Keep in mind that you should always wear protective gear. Airsoft guns shoot their pellets with enough speed to cause bruising of the skin at relatively close range and serious damage to the eye. Properly designed goggles and padded clothing are a must any time you are playing an airsoft game.

Because of the many advantages of airsoft guns for your combat play, it seems certain that you’ll see them increase in popularity in the next several years. Give it a try the next time you have the opportunity and you may become a convert to what is often considered the most realistic form of combat play there is.

Although airsoft is not as widely known as mainstream sports, it is still an optimal game choice. The sport of airsoft is growing all over the world, so it is becoming easier to find people to play with. Ten years ago in the United States, it might have been somewhat difficult to get an airsoft game going. Now that airsoft is more popular, you can start a game seamlessly and quickly.

While the preparation for games such as football may be miniscule, as all you need is a ball, there is not that much more you need to do to set up an airsoft game. As long as you have an airsoft gun, BBs, a mask, and a forest or field to play in, you can start up any time you like. You do not need the best gun out there to participate. In fact, many people choose to host games where only spring pistols or spring rifles are used. Those types of airsoft guns are easily affordable, conserve ammunition, and are fairly accurate.

Frankly, airsoft is a lot more engaging and downright fun than other sports on the market. You have to be constantly on your toes if you want to avoid being hit. Not only is excitement fueled by the drive to win, but you also want to not get out because it is slightly painful when tagged. There is a perfect mix of strategy and brute force. In one’s younger years, when toy guns were utilized, there was little seriousness in the game, and people would just run up to each other shooting. If you try to do that in airsoft, while it is highly unlikely anybody would get hurt, it would be quite unpleasant to get shot multiple times at a close range. The concentration and focus required to play airsoft exceeds that of most other games, making it an alternate, exciting option.

As an additional bonus, airsoft guns can be used for other things besides airsoft. When you are not playing the sport, you can have fun shooting at targets and increasing your accuracy. When you master one airsoft gun, you can train with another, until you are proficient in a wide range of airsoft products.

When you look for a metal airsoft gun that is easy to use, attractive, safe and helpful for you when you target practice there are several types to choose from. Many metal airsoft guns are replicas of Colt M16, H&K M5 that are military weapons.

Metal airsoft guns have been designed keeping the entertainment, in mind rather than hardcore hunting. These guns have a unique propulsion system that utilizes a small amount of air to shoot lightweight plastic pellets with amazing accuracy. Metal airsoft guns are extremely popular and the newer models are rifles and pistols that are replicas of famous models like the magnum revolver and the Uzi.

There are many types of metal air soft guns. The spring airsoft gun is extremely durable and has a very low failure rate. They shoot 6mm soft air bullets that are fed from the clip. These airsoft guns are good for practicing target shooting. The electric airsoft guns uses batteries and an electric motor to power them. The motor and the gears perform the cocking action and release the piston at the moment the trigger is pulled, instead of manually cocking the piston head for every shot. These guns are the most widely used in serious competitions.

The third type is the gas airsoft gun. The mechanism for this gun is gas driven meaning environmentally friendly gases are used in this gun. These guns generally require more maintenance than a spring gun. In one word Gas airsoft guns can be defined as classics

Airsoft by definition is a sport where players simulate military or law enforcement combat by using airsoft guns (which look a lot like real guns, to add to the realism) and other airsoft gear. The game of airsoft was developed in Japan, where firearms were (and still are) almost impossible to get without resorting to illegal means. An alternative was developed, and that alternative was airsoft. Because of this, it is no surprise that airsoft is actually most popular in East Asian countries such as China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea (North Korea is more interested in using real guns!)

Unlike paintball, it is incredibly hard to tell if somebody has been hit. No splatters are made on the skin or clothes, and unless the person screams in agony or pain, you will not know if they are hit. That is why the game of airsoft relies on the “Honor System”, where players lift their gun up and say, “Hit”. Also, one player on each team is usually designated as a medic, to revive players so they can resume play. Weapon hit rules vary depending on the game. Usually, a weapon being hit is the same as the player being hit, but if the person has a sidearm, rules can be modified so that the person just is not allowed to use their primary and must instead only use the sidearm.

The three types of airsoft guns are spring, electric, and gas. Spring guns are usually cheap but can get very expensive if they fire at a high FPS. Electric, also known as AEG, guns are powered by a battery and the main advantage is that they are automatic, but are generally not very powerful unless upgraded. Gas guns are the most powerful, and gases supported include carbon dioxide, propane, green gas, red gas, and high pressure air (HPA).
